Rosselló anuncia baja en el IVU de 11.5% a 7% en alimentos preparados
Con bombos y platillos el gobernador, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, anunció ayer un nuevo sistema contributivo que propone una reducción en tasas de contribución a individuos y corporaciones, así como la reducción del IVU en la compra de alimentos preparados, la eliminación del Business to Business (B2B) y la otorgación del Bono por Trabajo, entre otras medidas que, según anunció el primer ejecutivo devolverán unos $849 millones anuales a los contribuyentes a partir del año 2023.
Sobre el IVU, el gobernador informó que los contribuyentes verán una reducción del impuesto en los alimentos preparados, de 11.5 por ciento a 7 por ciento mediante transacciones verificables como tarjetas electrónicas y ATH móvil, entre otras. Esto significa ahorros de 79 millones de dólares para el 2019 y 87 millones de dólares anualmente desde el 2023.

Brian Contreras.- En el seno de la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente (ANC), las distintas comisiones designadas trabajan en las propuestas que presentarán para darle forma a una nueva Constitución para la República Bolivariana de Venezuela.
A inicios de este mes, la constituyente Laura Alarcón adelantó que la Comisión de Economía direccionaba sus esfuerzos en la creación de un Capítulo Económico para el proyecto de Carta Magna.
Este apartado legal pretendería poner orden en la materia económica para acabar con las distorsiones desde el punto de vista reglamentario.
A pesar de que la ley está en pleno proceso de gestación y se desconocen detalles esenciales, el presidente de la Comisión de Economía, Eduardo Piñate , adelantó a ÚN que este capítulo, al igual que todos los que se propongan desde la ANC, debe estar regido por los fundamentos de la actual Constitución de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela.
