Believe the hype! Penn State tops Utah for NIT title
NEW YORK ? Flavor Flav had his red cap flipped backward as he pulled out his iPhone on the Madison Square Garden court. Flav held the camera steady and recorded cousin Shep Garner clip the final strands of the championship net and wave it toward the Penn State die-hards.
Flav?s T-shirt at the NIT said it all for the Nittany Lions: Believe the hype!
Garner hit the 3-pointer that brought rapper and reality star Flavor Flav to his feet and helped send Penn State on its way to an NIT title in an 82-66 victory over Utah on Thursday night.
The fourth-seeded Nittany Lions (26-13) also knocked off No. 1 seed Notre Dame in the tournament en route to winning their first NIT title since 2009.
?This means the whole world to me right now,? Flavor Flav said.

SAN ANTONIO ? A wave of positionless basketball has swept the nation. Coaches have loaded rosters with smaller, athletic players who shoot 3-pointers and beat defenders off the dribble. Three, sometimes four-guard lineups have become the norm, free-flowing the way to go.
This year?s Final Four teams certainly fit the mold. These final four also have something else in common: Skilled big men who keep defenses honest, grab rebounds and protect the rim with all those smaller guys out there.
Villanova has Omari Spellman, Kansas Udoka Azubuike. Moe Wagner is Michigan?s man in the middle and burly freshman Cameron Krutwig anchors the paint for Loyola-Chicago.

Una Pasqua in pista attende la Steels Motocross che inizierà il proprio percorso verso il Campionato Italiano Junior proprio nel fine settimana di sabato 31 marzo e domenica 1 aprile. Nel corso delle festività, la scuderia di Castiglion Fiorentino gareggerà a Montalbano Jonico (Mt) nella prima delle tre prove di qualificazione che individueranno i migliori giovani piloti del centro-sud Italia che meriteranno l?accesso alle finali per il tricolore. La Steels scenderà in pista con uno dei maggiori talenti del proprio settore giovanile, Eros Aricò, che avrà il compito di tenere alti i colori del team e che gareggerà nella categoria Mx85 Senior con il dichiarato obiettivo di chiudere la gara nei primi posti. Nel frattempo ha preso il via il campionato toscano che ha visto accendere il gas ai giovanissimi piloti del Team Junior: Samuele Pecorari, Kevin Botti e Gabriel Coppini.

Miles de personas manifestaron en las calles de París este miércoles en memoria de una mujer judía de 85 años asesinada en un ataque que se considera relacionado con el antisemitismo.
Líderes de varios partidos políticos participaron en la marcha por Mireille Knoll, cuyo cadáver en parte quemado fue hallado por los bomberos en su apartamento de París el fin de semana pasado.

Magid: Are Facebook?s new privacy tools enough to calm users and regulators?
Last week I wrote about Facebook?s rather complicated privacy settings and, as I said at the time, ?I wish it weren?t necessary for me to write this column.? I actually had two reasons for saying that. One is because I believe that Facebook should turn on more privacy features by default and second, because Facebook makes it too complicated to find and configure your privacy settings.
I?m not sure if Facebook plans to address my first issue but, based on a statement posted Wednesday by Facebook Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer Erin Egan and Ashlie Beringer, vice president and deputy general counsel, the company apparently agrees that ?It?s time to make our privacy tools easier to find.?
Egan and Beringer acknowledged that privacy controls are now ?spread across nearly 20 different screens,? and pledged to make things a lot easier going forward by making them accessible on a single page.
