Antioch man arrested after gunfire, foot chase BRENTWOOD — An Antioch man was arrested after a domestic dispute turned violent, authorities said Thursday. At 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of Chuck E. Cheese, 6061 Lone Tree Way, Brentwood police Lt. Walter O’Grodnick said. Arriving officers found a man with a gun who managed to flee a short distance before they detained him. Antioch police also responded to assist Brentwood officers. No injuries were reported. Eric Johns, 31, was arrested on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm in public and resisting arrest. A man sent money through Western Union to Arizona, believing he was sending money to a love interest to assist her in obtaining an inheritance. Drugs: Jan. 18 at 11:10 p.m. South Bascom Avenue. A man was reported acting suspiciously in his car. When police officers contacted the man they found Xanax, Oxycontin and meth for sale. The man was also under the influence. He was booked into jail. Public intoxication: Jan. 18 at 8:25 p.m. East Campbell Avenue. Police contacted a man reportedly causing a disturbance and determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself and was out of compliance with his probation. He was booked into jail.
